Holland Easter Open 2008 |

The destination for the Easter 2008 tour has had to be changed.
The lads, will now be competing in the Holland Easter Open Tournament, the largest youth football tournament in Europe. The team, and supporters will be staying at Center Parcs Het Heijderbos on the border from Belgium to Holland, not too far from the city of Eindhoven, and in the middle of the region where all games are to be played.
The under 18 age-group was removed from the tournament that the lads were due to play in, and it became evident that there are only a handful of good quality tournaments around Europe at Easter time. The Holland Easter open is a tournament that the club has experience of already, therefore the decision was made!!
The lads entered the Easter Open in 2006 in the Under 17 category and finished a very creditable 7th of 32 teams. "it's a brilliant, well run tournament played at 10 different Football clubs throughout southern Holland, all with fabulous pitches and facilities and we're delighted to take part again" said Patrick Collins. "This time we'll look to finish in an even better position"
The Easter tour has become a yearly event with the lads visiting Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, and the south coast of England in past years.

So far there are 16 confirmed teams in the under 19 age-group representing England, Holland, Spain, Germany, and Italy At least a further three teams will be confirmed in the next few weeks. Confirmed teams are:
